We would like to introduce you to the most recent publication by Fontana et al. 2012, currently published in The Arthroscopy.
This new publication reports on a retrospective comparative study on 30 patients with hip chondral defects and follow- up up to 74 months.
15 patients underwent arthroscopic debridement and 15 patients were arthroscopically treated with ACT using the autologous chondrocyte graft BioSeed®-C.
The Harris Hip Score evaluation after 6 years showed a stronger improvement in hip pain, function and functional activity in the group treated with BioSeed®-C.
